[ERROR] E: Could not get lock /var/lib/dpkg/lock-frontend - open (11: Resource temporarily unavailable)

sudo apt update
sudo apt install dstat

 

위 명령어를 실행하는데 종종 복불복처럼 아래 에러가 뜬다. 

E: Could not get lock /var/lib/dpkg/lock-frontend - open (11: Resource temporarily unavailable)

E: Unable to acquire the dpkg frontend lock (/var/lib/dpkg/lock-frontend), is another process using it?

sudo killall apt apt-get

  - 진행중인 프로세스가 없다라고 뜨면 아래 실행

sudo rm /var/lib/apt/lists/lock

sudo rm /var/cache/apt/archives/lock

sudo rm /var/lib/dpkg/lock*

sudo dpkg --configure -a 

sudo apt update

 

 

그런데..!!!! 또 에러가 뜬다. 

error: parsing file '/var/lib/dpkg/updates/0001' near line 0:

 newline in field name '#padding'

 

 그렇다면 다음과같이 실행한다

sudo mv /var/lib/dpkg/updates/0001 /var/lib/dpkg/updates/0001.X

sudo dpkg --configure -a
sudo apt-get install -f

그러면 정상적으로 잘 해결된다.
